David A. Cross is a writer, lecturer and independent art historian with interests in biography, sculpture and the artists of Cumbria.
He won Lakeland Book of the Year awards for his biography of George Romney, A Striking Likeness [2000] and for Dear Mary Love Percy [2011], his second volume of the letters of Percy Kelly.
